Advocacy Opportunity

The Costco Annual Meeting is coming up on Jan 20, 2022. If you have at least one share of COSTCO stock, would you be willing to attend the on-line meeting and put a question in their Q&A box? It would just be submitting a question. You would not be seen by the other participants. And the response, to that question, comes after the meeting is done. See the details in the link above. Let's Loop COSTCO ;)

Here is a continuing conversation with Gerrie Zilinsky about Costco's use of Portable Counter Loops at their Hearing Aid Centers...

Has anyone else experienced the Portable Counter Loop at a Costco Hearing Aid Counter? If so, what is your experience?

By all means - put this on the National Conversation -BECAUSE this needs to be a nationwide effort to let all of the big boxes and stores know that IF they have these Accommodation Tools - they must abide by the ADA rules and regulations and use them accordingly.

Here is your chance to advocate for a Portable Counter Loop at the Hearing Aid Center at your Costco!

I had been asking Christian Anthis (Head of USA Operations)  for Portable Counter Loops to be installed at the Costco Hearing Centers -- but to no avail.

When I entered the question at the Annual Meeting it got action!

Because of my question, these portable counter loops are now available at both Costcos where I shop (Tumwater, WA and Lacey, WA).
So if you want to advocate for a portable Counter Loop at your Costco here are the details for the next virtual Annual Meeting.
If you have at least one share of Costco, as of November 11th, you can attend!

Advocacy at Costco - Jan 19th

If you own at least one share of Costco stock you can attend the annual meeting. During the meeting you may enter a question in their question box. I have been asking to install Counter Loops at the Hearing Aid Counters so I can hear the Costco staff by using my telecoil. You can advocate for a counter loop too! You may have other questions as well. My experience is that the answers are sent in an email after the meeting is over.

Here is the meeting link & information:
