I just attended a meeting with the new Zoom captioning and it did exceptionally well.

 

Are there any hints as to whose ASR system is behind the curtain?

Zoom has initiated free captions for paid Zoom accounts. If you have a paid Zoom account you need to check can additional setting in your Zoom web portal. Enable live transcription service… See the image below. After you do that  your CC icon in your  Zoom window will change. It will now have additional text that says Live Transcript.  Click on the CC button and select Enable Live Transcription. If you have been using Otter captions you will need to disconnect the Otter live stream.
