Thanks Dan. That isn’t the problem. Moving the captions works great during the live Zoom meeting. I’m referring to the saved for replay one; the recording.  Not possible to move it on that.

Hi Julie,

Zoom about month or so ago gave us the ability to move the caption box.  If you mouse over the caption box with your cursor you will see a white hand appear.  Right click on the caption box and drag it where you want to.  I have found there is no perfect spot to place the caption but the feature is helpful at time.

Hope this helps,

Sharing an experience with Zoom captions:   Last Friday I participated on Mayo Clinic Connect mentor’s discussion. The captions worked well. Everyone was impressed. I think only 3 of the group need them.  The session was recorded so those unable to attend could review it.  On the recording, the captions were all mid screen, mostly across the speaker’s face. Really annoying. The host was set on ‘speaker view’.  Wondering if gallery view would eliminate that issue.  There were 12 people on this conference.

I am attaching a pdf file, so that you can see the Zoom support response and my response to it. This will make it easier for you to enlarge the text. We may be getting some "traction" here...
