Projector Recommendations #Captioning #Resources
We have in-person presentations to various service organizations. Often these meetings are in back rooms in restaurants or other meeting rooms without any technology for projecting slides or captioning. We are thinking of purchasing a projector to project captioning onto a wall, portable screen or TV screen. What suggestions do you have for us?

Projectors are less convenient, usually, than
a large computer display, connected to a laptop. That means only
two pieces of equipment to transport and set up instead of
three. Also, you can be sure that there will be no image size or
focus issues. ======================================================================================

Remember on Saturday I had captions in the breakout room? Since Rich uses a PowerPoint, and if the version is a newer version in Microsoft 365, you can have captions within the presentation. Also, as long as you have a slide on display, it will continue to caption. Have a slide with general information on it display during the business part of the meeting and if the mic is issued, it will caption whatever is spoken. Access to this feature is in the provided link. -- Alan Katsura akatsura@... Moderator HLAA Tech Group |
