Trevor J. Finneman, Esq., will give an overview of federal and state law relevant to effective communication obligations in the healthcare context; the scope of law—including patient's “companions”; issues and quirks of auxiliary aids; situations where accommodations are not required; tips for requesting accommodations; and share his observations.

An Almazan | Finneman principal, Trevor represents plaintiffs in disability discrimination, employment, civil rights, and personal injury matters. Trevor earned his law degree from UCLA. During law school, he served as Executive Editor of UCLA Journal of Environmental Law and Policy, Vice President of National Association of Law Students with Disabilities, and co-chair of the UCLA Disability Law Society.
