Welcome to the official email group for the HLAA Veterans Across America Virtual Chapter.
 
The mission of the HLAA Veterans Across America Virtual Chapter is to provide education, be an advocate for veterans with hearing loss, and to provide a support system to help them to return and adjust to civilian life.

The purpose of this group is to share useful information, our successes, tips for veterans in their hearing journey. By asking questions and sharing what works and what does not, we provide support and assistance on how to live well with hearing loss.

Veterans with hearing loss and supportive friends and family are encouraged to join as members of the chapter.

2. Conflict of Interest- Participants can share their experiences, but not promote or endorse any products, services and companies. No soliciting allowed

3. Be Kind and Courteous - We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

4. No Hate Speech or Bullying- Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about disability, race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

5. No Promotions or Spam - Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed.

6. Respect Everyone’s Privacy - Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group
